A webinar to share best practice in delivering high quality play opportunities for children and young people as part of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Programme

June 8th 2021 - 10.30am until 12:00

As lockdown eases and children are emerging from restrictions it is more important than ever that they get access to good quality play opportunities, physical activity and good food. The HAF programme worth £220 million has resulted in Local Authorities being allocated funds to support children and young people across England. The guidance is being interpreted differently in different areas and some areas are struggling to find capacity to be able to deliver enough services for all children on free school meals.

Play England is hosting this practical webinar to hear about the real barriers and the ideas and creative ways of ensuring that children can make the most of the summer of play that are developing.

The webinar is suitable for everybody involved in commissioning and delivering holiday activities and food for children in 2021, including councils, VCS providers and school and out of school staff.
