Partners

Play England works with other organisations to raise the profile and importance of children’s play with policy makers at national and local level – in government, public health and wellbeing, the environment and anywhere that policy could affect children’s opportunities to play.  We also aim to keep the play sector, the public and media aware of developing policy affecting children’s play so they can have an informed say.

Our policy work includes:

  • Analysing the potential impact of and responding to government consultations and proposed legislation
  • Producing briefings and reports for other key decision makers across all sectors that impact on children
  • Spreading our communication and campaigns messages through social and other media to build public support for children and young people to fully enjoy their right to play.
